Family in the House

This Christmas I haven't gone home to my parents and my sister.
This Christmas they came to me!
They came Friday night and are staying to tomorrow morning.

It's an interesting experience.
In the House where we're usually 6 young women running in and out,
there is now a Family.
We (the girls and I) do consider us as a sort of family,
but of couse this is different.
It's like taking home with you home... You know what I mean?

You really feel grown up in a way when your family comes to visit you in youre home, instead of the other way around.
It was a bit strange at first, but now it feels very good.
It's nice that I don't have to go away anywhere.
Since I have to work and study during the winter "break",
it would just add to the stress if I had to go away.
And I think my Family enjoys it too.
They get away from the things at home that could/would stress them.

We usually celebrate Christmas at my grandparent's place
with the rest of the reletives (all 5 of them...).
This year we didn't have to drive as far since they don't live so far from me.

I'm at work now and when I get off my Dad'll come and pick me up.
Feels great!

Now that I don't get to see them as often, every moment with them is extra valueble. Especially when I have to go away to work while they're here.

I love my Family!
It's about 4h left until I get to see them again.
